In a remote and barren village lives a boy named Ash, haunted by memories of past lives. The state of the world distresses him; progress and technology are stunted, reminiscent of the Dark Ages. Ash daydreams of a better world, one with advanced transportation and proper hygiene. To bring his visions to fruition, he delves into ancient books brimming with knowledge from a thriving civilization of yore. Undeterred, Ash collaborates with the church to hone his reading skills and procure essential information. He gains devoted support from Maika, the daughter of the village head, in his quest to uplift their community. Thus begins the journey of a young man determined to rebuild society and create a utopia.
